Stock condition surveys
What is a stock condition survey?
A stock condition survey is a visual inspection of the inside and outside of your home to ensure it’s in good, safe condition.
The information we collect is used to plan, prioritise and budget for any necessary repairs and improvements we need to make. The survey is not to assess anything about the way you live within your home or how tidy it is. It’s to review the condition of your home’s major elements, such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and roofs.
We have partnered with an organisation called Parcor, who are completing these surveys on our behalf. They will be in touch with you to organise your home’s survey. As part of your tenancy agreement, it is required that you give them access to complete the work.
The survey is likely to take 30 – 60 minutes and will be carried out between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Surveys outside of these hours can be arranged if needed by contacting Parcor.
Please note that this survey is a mandatory part of maintaining your home and ensuring it meets safety and quality standards. You are required to provide access for this inspection.
Each surveyor will be carrying a Parcor Assessor identification card, which you should ask to see before giving anyone access to your home. If you have any concerns, you can contact Parcor to verify the name of the Assessor.
