Our board governs our business. It sets our direction and goals. It also makes sure we stay financially strong and meet the standards set out by the government’s Regulator of Social Housing. Members come from all walks of life and bring a wide range of talent and experience. They work voluntarily and have a shared passion for social housing and investing in communities.
Since 2009, Alison has worked for Incommunities, a large housing association in Shipley, where she manages a team responsible for policy development, performance management, complaints management, scrutiny and equality. She also tutors on the Chartered Institute of Housing’s graduate employment and mentoring programme. Alison is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, holds a diploma in housing and a master’s degree in policy studies.
