Violence and abuse at home
Please ask for help if you experience violence or abuse in your home
Taking action against domestic violence
Everyone has the right to live free from fear. Domestic violence or abuse has no place in our society.
Abuse comes in all forms, from controlling behaviour, to threats and physical assault. People can even be subjected to financial abuse. Abusive behaviour can affect anyone, of any age, gender, ethnicity or background. We work closely with other agencies to help people seek the support they need to protect themselves from abuse of any kind.

You can also report domestic abuse online to West Yorkshire Police.
If you need to contact the police in an emergency but aren’t able to speak to the operator, click here for information about silent 999 calls.
