Introducing the Adversity to Advantage podcast

We’ve launched a brand new podcast!

Adversity to Advantage is a series highlighting the stories of individuals who’ve come into contact with Connect, focusing on what they’ve achieved and overcome to get to where they are today.

In this first episode, Connect Housing’s ETE coordinator, Liz Hudson, is joined by KBOP employment coordinator Matteo Dimaiozaffino, and peer mentor Michael Peoples.

The group discusses the benefits of education, training and employment on our emotional wellbeing and mental health. Be aware the conversation does include discussion of mental illness, death, and suicide.

Future episodes will be released monthly and cover a range of topics including the benefits of resident engagement, and the value of supported services.
