Customer Privacy Statement Update

Connect’s Customer Privacy Statement has been updated. This is our document explaining what data we collect and how we use it. It also includes contact details should you wish to exercise your data protection rights or complain about how your data has been handled. For further information on data protection complaints, visit the ICO website.
It also now includes terms that allow us to send you, via email or text, information on opportunities we provide that aren’t directly about your tenancy. These may include, but are not limited to, those relating to the Money Matters service, community engagement activities or initiatives related to retrofitting your property to become more energy efficient – where such programmes are available. We will not send information that is not in some way related to your tenancy or property. If you do not wish to receive such emails or texts, please contact businessassurance@connecthousing.org.uk. You may still receive information about opportunities through the post.
Please note, if you opt out, you will still receive electronic correspondence regarding matters directly related to service delivery, such as those relating to rent or repairs appointments where appropriate and where you have not expressed to be contacted in another way.
If you require Connect’s Privacy Statement in an alternative format, please contact our Business Assurance team via businessassurance@connecthousing.org.uk.
