Connect residents get funding and make savings with Money Matters

Our Money Matters service has been helping Connect residents to maximise their income and make their money go further. 

In the past 6 months alone, they’ve helped people to get additional benefits and grants, and to reduce debts. One customer who benefited from the advice said “the chap that came was very helpful. He was able to give me information on benefits etc that I was not aware of.”

Don’t struggle alone, contact the Money Matters team today

The Money Matters service is completely free for all residents to use and has an excellent track record of making a real difference for people. In the last 6 months they’ve helped residents to access a total of £184,826.

The team can offer friendly expert help and support to: 

  • Review your budget and spending. 
  • Maximise your income including benefits you may be entitled to. 
  • Reduce fuel costs. 
  • Help you access employment. 

We know that many people are finding it hard to make ends meet this winter and may be worried about paying bills. Some people may be thinking about switching off their heating altogether, or even considering “alternative” home heating and cooking methods that can be dangerous. 

Please don’t do this and don’t struggle alone.
