The latest on our Better Homes programme
We’re in the early stages of our Better Homes Programme, which will see around 300 homes upgraded to the energy efficiency standard of EPC Band C.
We’re working with our specialist contractor Equans to deliver the programme over the next two to three years. Before any work can be carried out, detailed home assessments have to be done, and Equans has completed these for over 250 properties so far. A big ‘thank you’ to those of you who’ve had them!
We’ve now begun work on the next stage of the programme, where we’ll select the first batch of homes to receive improvements. This is why the home surveys are so important, because they’ve guided how we group the properties which are having similar improvement measures.
We hope to start installing improvements to the first batch of homes during the summer. Keep an eye on our website for more updates!
