Why did you choose your apprenticeship at Connect?
My college said Connect were looking for a plumbing apprentice and I threw myself straight at the opportunity. Once I researched and looked into it, I knew there would a lot of chances for me to better my skills within my chosen trade and pick up other skills.
Any advice for those considering an apprenticeship?
Just do it, it’s a practical way to learn and you build a career at the same time.

I chose to apply to Connect Housing due to the opportunities to expand my knowledge on each trade.

I chose my apprenticeship at Connect to help people living in social housing and to improve people’s properties.

Any advice for those considering an apprenticeship?
Put your all into it and prove yourself because at the end of your apprenticeship, there could be opportunities for you to progress.
