Changes to our Neighbourhoods team

We’re excited to share some positive changes which have taken place within the Neighbourhoods team, designed to deliver a more tailored service to residents.

We have reshaped the team to bring together Community Housing Officers and elements of the Lettings service. This has allowed us to create smaller neighbourhood patches, supported by a team of eight Community Housing Officers.

By reducing patch sizes, each officer will have the time to really get to know you and your community, and – just as importantly – make sure you know exactly who your Community Housing Officer is.

Your Community Housing Officer will now provide a more joined-up service, managing a wide range of neighbourhood responsibilities. This includes tenancy management, addressing anti-social behaviour, supporting residents through conflict and disputes with neighbours, carrying out annual tenancy checks, estate walkabouts, and many other things. You’ll see our officers out and about more often, so please do stop and say hello as they’re always happy to talk.

While we’ve brought some services closer together, we want to reassure you that we still have a dedicated Lettings team. This specialist team will continue to manage allocations and lettings, ensuring homes are let efficiently and fairly, while working closely with the Community Housing Officers to provide a seamless experience for new residents.
