A day in the life of a Senior Data Analyst

We recently spoke to Reece Hooker, Senior Data Analyst, to find out more about our Business Intelligence (BI) team.

What does your role as a Senior Data Analyst involve?  

My role, as you might expect, involves a lot of data and spreadsheets. [It’s] a lot of working with different stakeholders in the organisation, understanding their challenges and working with them to find solutions.   

What does the future look like for the BI team at Connect? 

I’d say the future of Business Intelligence is coming thick and fast as we are implementing a new data warehouse solution, which takes all of our data from all our different sources and puts it into one place to make the reporting process so much easier.  

As we work further with our Information Services department, we’re implementing better solutions every month [so we] have better access to the data, allowing [us] to create more intelligent reports, better tools and things that make a difference to our customers and people at all levels of the organisation.
