Connect aims to ensure that all children and young people are safe and protected from abuse.
This aim is demonstrated by Connect’s Child Protection Policy, and is supported by detailed procedures and good practice guidance. Equal Opportunities, Harassment, Professional Boundaries, Health and Safety and Complaints policies also contribute to this commitment.
Connect Housing is committed to ensuring that staff and volunteers are aware of their responsibilities for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children/young people and recognises its responsibility to take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation. Connect acknowledges its duty to act appropriately to any allegations, reports or suspicions of abuse.
