Our Batley Scheme offers support within a shared house for up to 4 people with mental health needs.
It is staffed 24 hours a day, with staff sleeping over. The service also supports two tenants living in independent furnished properties with temporary tenancies.
The house is within close distance of Dewsbury District Hospital. There are four individual rooms. Each room comes furnished, with additional shared communal facilities such as lounge, kitchen, laundry facilities, toilet and bathroom.
Who would use the project?
Those who apply come to the project for a variety of reasons such as:

having a mental health diagnosis

having recently been discharged from hospital
-
needing a high level of support
-
have never had their own tenancy before
