North Kirklees Women’s Refuge provides safe accommodation for women and children experiencing domestic violence. The building comprises 10 private bedrooms, for both single women, and women with up to four children (the maximum age of male children is 15) and shared facilities such as kitchens, bathrooms, lounge, and play areas.
The project is staffed during office hours by a committed and experienced staff team, with an out-of-hours service available to residents and agencies.
We will accept self or agency referrals.
If the refuge does not have space available, or is not the right agency to help you with the issues you are facing, staff may be able to assist you to find refuge space in another area.
