How To Make A Referral

Referrals can be made to Nowell Court by voluntary and statutory agencies and by self-referral. A high proportion of our referrals come form Leeds City Council Homelessness Advice and Prevention Team. We can take referrals Monday to Friday between 9.00am – 5.00pm.

We are not a direct access hostel and follow a detailed referral procedure. However, we aim to process referrals within 24 hours and recognise that temporary accommodation may be urgently required.

The basic criteria used to assess the referral are:

  • that circumstances meet the aims and objectives of the project
  • housing status
  • the level of support needed and willingness to accept support
  • risk assessment and management of risk

Call our dedicated staff members on 0113 248 4888 to see how they can help you.
