Compensation for Improvements
If you make an improvement to your home and then leave, you could have the right to some compensation for these improvements. This is not automatic and depends upon the circumstances. Please note the application for and payment of compensation can only be made upon the end of the tenancy and must be made within 14 days of the tenancy end date. This does not apply if the tenancy is terminated as a result of a court granting the Association possession or if you buy your home.
