Have you got a Passion 4 Fashion?

Passion4Fashion Kirklees is a fashion design project aimed at unemployed people. There was a 6 week fashion workshop that started in March and resulted in a grand fashion show at Huddersfield Town Hall in April. It was a huge success for everybody involved and there will be a fantastic celebration event happening in the next few weeks.

The successful of the show was how inclusive our project was as we had all ages, sizes, races, genders. You wouldn’t get that on most other kinds of catwalk, would you? And that’s what made our show so great, different and about inclusive. It also had a fantastic, warm, friendly atmosphere.

It’s a collaboration between Connect Housing, Together Housing, Kirklees Council, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, DBI, Sadeh Lok, Yorkshire Housing, Headrow Housing, Kirklees Neighbourhood Area and Action Teams, Job Centre Plus and Sure Start.
