Connect encourages tenants to look after their gardens. However, with the recent trend of DIY television shows encouraging people to try out new ideas for landscaping their garden, Connect wants to ensure our tenants use power tools and gardening equipment safely.
The use of proper equipment and clothing is absolutely essential when carrying out this type of work, so we have devised some helpful guidance in conjunction with a utility supplier to help ensure that tenants operate power tools correctly and stay safe while maintaining their gardens. Tenants are reminded that any alterations or improvements which involve structural works or the diversion of footpaths should first be approved by Connect. Please contact the Assets team at Connect on 0113 285 0404 for advice before undertaking any such work.
