For noise problems
The best way to tackle noise problems when they are happening is to phone your local authority who will have a team who, if necessary, can visit whilst the noise is happening.
In Leeds phone the Leeds City Council's Noise Nuisance team on 0113 222 4402 (mon-fri 9-5pm) or 0113 3950143 (6pmto 3.30am) out of hours.
In Kirklees they have no out of hours noise team in winter. It will be back in service April 18 on 01484 414828. 01484 414739 is their day time number.
In Calderdale phone 01422 288 001.
In Wakefield phone 0345 8506 506.
Keep records of the date, time and details of incidents.
If you believe you are being harassed because of your race, faith, colour, sexuality or disability you should contact our Housing Liaison Officers on 0300 5000 600, or phone the Leeds City Council Racial Harassment Project on 0800 138 1625.
We are a HATE Incident Reporting Centre and so anyone can call into our office and report racial, faith-based, disability or homophobic harassment. We will complete a report with you, which is sent directly to the Police and Stop Hate UK to investigate.
