Leeds, Kirklees and Calderdale Councils each have excellent websites with all sorts of information about recycling, so if you have internet access it’s worth taking a look. Remember that you can go on line for free at your local library, and they also often run courses for new users. Alternatively, you can contact your local council by telephone for further information.
Recycling is one of the easiest ways to improve your green credentials and is free and easy to do. If you aren’t currently recycling at all, start with recycling paper and tin cans, and then once you’ve got into a regular habit of doing this add in the other items from the list – you’ll be a recycling convert in no time!
