Lisa works with tenants and local communities and will consult with people about the services they want from Connect and other agencies. This may be through meetings, focus groups or surveys.
She supports community groups working for the benefit of Connect tenants and helps individuals get together to develop such self help groups and become more active in their communities. This might include help with fundraising, constitutions, finding the right training and how to organise a committee.
Lisa will work with interested communities to help develop tenant led local action plans that will be agreed with tenants and that allow tenants to hold Connect Housing to account.
Lisa works closely with the Community Youth Officer| in supporting groups of adults who wish to develop suitable management structures for working with young people, such as a local Dreamscheme promoting youth volunteering.
