Head of Property, Finance and Technology Unit in Leeds City Council, Legal Services.

Describe the experience/qualifications you have:

Wide experience of public sector law and governance, having practised as a solicitor in the public sector for over 20 years, with particular experience of working in multi-disciplinary tea of public and private sector professionals. Recent experience of dealing with the legal aspects of setting up the Leeds ALMOs, and ALMO governance issues. Chair of the former West Yorkshire Housing Association. BA (Hons) Law, Solicitor, Diploma in Local Government Law, LLM (Cyberlaw: Information Technology, Law and Society).

Describe the strengths you feel you bring to the Board:

Knowledge and experience of public sector governance issues, and ability to focus on strategic issues. A belief in public sector housing, and a commitment to helping develop and improve Connect.
