Describe the job areas you currently work in:
I have worked mainly in retail management so I feel I have experience in people management. Although I enjoyed this work, I feel that through working with Connect I may want to retrain and continue to progress in the housing sector.
Describe the experience/qualifications you have:
As a mum of two boys (aged 2 and 14) I know how to manage time and listen well. I feel I have much experience in tenants’ needs, and have used many of Connect’s services. I volunteer for my local church as a deputy church warden and Child Protection Officer.
Describe the strengths you feel you bring to the Board:
Personal experience of housing need and as a Connect tenant.
