Describe the job areas you currently work in:
I am retired, but as well as being a Board member of Connect I am an elected Public Governor of the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Describe the experience/qualifications you have:
I have had a varied management career in the different sectors, food manufacturing, financial services and health. My last role was as Head of Corporate Assurance at the Health & Social Care Information Centre, responsible for the provision of risk based assurance to the Department of Health, senior management team and Board Assurance & Risk Committee. I have BA (Honours) degree and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Describe the strengths you feel you bring to the Board:
I bring many years of experience of supporting Boards and Audit & Risk Committees to Connect, covering internal audit, risk management, information security assurance and corporate assurance in general.
