Describe the job areas you currently work in:

Since 2009 I have worked for Incommunities, a large housing association based in Shipley, where I manage a team responsible for policy development, performance management, complaints management, scrutiny, and equalities. I am also a tutor on a Chartered Institute of Housing accredited graduate employment and mentoring programme.

Describe the experience/qualifications you have:

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and hold a Diploma in Housing and a Masters Degree in Policy Studies. I have worked in housing for over 20 years for both Housing Associations and Local Authorities in a variety of roles including strategy, service improvement, benefit advice and front line housing management.

Describe the strengths you feel you bring to the Board:

Enthusiasm, a wide knowledge of housing issues, and a commitment to social housing and social justice.
